Hi, I’m Amanda Holges, Owner and Facilitator at Kent Business Mastermind.
I have run my own businesses for over 35 years. Taking one from a small family business to a £multi-million international company. I understand what it is like to run a business, the difficulties you can encounter, and the success you can achieve.
I have been both a Mastermind attendee and facilitator for over 10 years. I have seen the my Mastermind has had on those people that have used it to better themselves and move their business forward. To getting the confidence to set their prices higher, giving their business one more critical boost when it all seemed hopeless, and to working with others to build a team to grow the success in their business.
Significant Other: My wife Sue. Happy to go on adventures and join in my sometimes mad-cap ideas.
Pets: Benji a Border Terrier (and a bit of a grumpy old man) and Hartly our Jack Russell Puppy.
Interests: Cooking, Food in general especially Street Food
Hobbies: Tai Chi, Gardening
Greatest Achievement: 2 Grown up Sons, Adam & Luke. May life take them on smooth pathways to great places.
Business Books: Eat that Frog (Brian Tracy) and Feel the Fear & Do it Anyway (Susan Jeffers)
Favourite Quote: “Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head, behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming downstairs, but sometimes he feels that there really is another way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment and think of it.” A good metaphor, as sometimes we just have to stop long enough to see a better way of doing things.
